Jay Storer began working for Petersen Publishing in 1969 as an editor for "Hot Rod" books, and "Rod & Custom" magazine. He then founded a successful advertising agency that specialized in the automotive and street rod industries. He has also written automotive books for S-A Design, dozens of repair manuals for Haynes Publications, and continues to write freelance articles and books about his lifelong passion for hot rods.
