Jan Cheripko

Jan Cheripko has written half a dozen books for young readers, including the young adult novel Imitate the Tiger, which won the Joan Fassler Memorial Book Award. In addition to his work as a writer, Jan teaches at-risk teenagers in a private school in upstate New York. He lives in Pennsylvania, with his wife, Valray and their daughter, Julia.
