James Pyman

James Pyman's solo exhibitions include shows at Cabinet, London and Susan Inglett Gallery, New York, and group shows at Angstrom, Los Angeles and ICA, London. His work is currently on show in Cult Fiction, a Hayward Gallery touring exhibition. Pyman's drawings assimilate imagery from photographs, documentary news footage and found images on the internet. These are collaged together in such a way that the history, and often dark sources of the drawings linger like ghosts in the final drawings.
