James A Huston
James A. Huston was a professor of history at Purdue University. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Indiana University and his Ph.D. from New York University. A rifle-battalion operations officer with the 134th Infantry which fought in France in 1944-45, he also served with the Office of the Chief of Military History and the Office of the Chief of Army Field Forces, U.S. Army, and held the Ernest J.
