Jack Howell

Jack Howell has enjoyed a life-long interest in antique mechanical equipment. He and his wife, Susan Conway, have traveled extensively and visited many engineering and technical sites around the world. He is a member of the US National Academy of Engineering, a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Science, and a Life Fellow in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He recently retired from teaching at The University of Texas-Austin, but remains active in research.
