Isiah Thomas
Isiah Thomas is the youngest of nine children and grew up in Chicago, where he attended the noted high school St. Joseph's. He then accepted a full scholarship to Indiana University, where he won the NCAA championship in 1981. After his sophomore year, he was drafted into the NBA by the Detroit Pistons. Recently named the head coach of the Indiana Pacers, Thomas is also very active on the community front, He created the Isiah Thomas Foundation, and he participates in projects for the Fannie Mae Foundation.
