Iona Snair

For the past 30 years, Iona Snair has been involved in the lives of vulnerable young people and the adults who care about them. As a youth worker, foster parent, college instructor and mentor, Iona has created spaces of hospitality and growth for many. For the past 30 years, Iona Snair has been involved in the lives of vulnerable young people and the adults who care about them. As a youth worker, foster parent, college instructor and mentor, Iona has created spaces of hospitality and growth for many. She and her husband Rob have spent the last 18 years equipping the next generation of youth workers through an innovative program of Youth Unlimited's called Lifeteams School of Youth Outreach. Iona is a speaker and trainer, preparing parents, volunteers and youth work professionals to compassionately enter into the difficult issues young people face. She holds a Master degree from Regent College in Vancouver and lives with her family in Abbotsford, B.C. See less
