Ingrid & Dieter Schubert are the award-winning creators of "Amazing Animals, recipient of a National Parenting Publications Gold Award. In 1987 Dieter Schubert was awarded The Golden Brush (a national award for the best illustrated book) for "Where is my Monkey? The Schuberts live in Armsterdam with their two daughters. After attending the Academy of Design in Muenster and the Academy of Art in Dusseldorf they got a scholarship in 1977. They went to the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Armsterdam, where they were encouraged by the famous Dutch illustrator Piet Klaasse to illustrate children's books. Their first book, "There's a Crocodile Under My Bed?, was an instant success and was published in 14 countries. Since then, their books have been translated into 21 languages. See less
