Hugh Francis Blunt

Msgr. Hugh Francis Blunt was a priest and author of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, serving the Archdiocese of Boston. After feeling a call to the priesthood as an altar boy, he received Holy Orders in 1901 before working at the Boston Pilot as an editor. He later obtained a parish school of 1,900 pupils at St. John's Church in Cambridge, and was declared Monsignor by Pope Pius XII in 1944.
