Holly Neumann is a writer, editor, swim instructor, and swim coach.She got her professional start as a sportswriter covering her college swim team, and she went on to have a career as a newspaper editor and copy editor at a major West Coast daily. When her children were young, she switched gears to aquatics and water safety, and for five years, she led a nationwide adult learn-to-swim education initiative.She loves teaching children to flip turn and dive and helping adults to feel confident and happy in the water. She lives in Florida with her family, where she enjoys open water swimming, roller skating, and chips and salsa.
