Henry Peavler is a Real Estate Developer, professional fund raiser and an avid golfer. He was born in Springfield, Missouri and raised in eastern Colorado. He moved to Austin, Texas in 1973 where he raised his five children. He now divides his time between family in Austin, Texas, Denver, Colorado, Eugene, Oregon and Mazatlan, Mexico. He is working on a historical novel about the Quaker influence on Kansas becoming a free state. The hero is based on the true adventures of Colonel Sam Wood who was a real life superhero before the term was even coined. Sam fought for equality for all, elimination of slavery and the vote for women. He lived life on the edge and the fact he lived as long as he did is attributed by some to divine intervention and others to the 'luck of the Irish'. See less
