Helen Thomson

Helen Thomson is a freelance writer and consultant with New Scientist . She has also written for the Guardian , New York Times , Nature and the BBC, and has won various awards for her journalism. Her book, Unthinkable: An Extraordinary Journey Through the World's Strangest Brains was a Times Book of the Year in 2018. Helen has a BSc in Neuroscience and an MSc in Science Communication. She lives in London.
