Hasan Komurcugil received the B.Eng., M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Famagusta, North Cyprus, Via Mersin 10, Turkey, in 1989, 1991, and 1998, respectively. Currently, he is Guest Editor for Applications and Recent Advances on Sliding Mode Control and Its Applications in Modern Industrial Systems in IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL INFORMATICS.
