Harold Foster
Harold M. Foster is the coauthor of the Heinemann title America's Unseen Kids (2008). A Distinguished Professor of English Education and Literacy at the University of Akron, Halis also the author of Crossing Over: Teaching Meaning Centered English/ Language Arts (2002). He has presented workshops throughout the country and is codirector of the project described in America's Unseen Kids, a ten-year-old high school program involving at-risk kids.
