Harish Sharma was born and brought up in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and gave 20 years of his life to cricket. He did his schooling at the Sports College, Lucknow and post-graduation from Pithoragarh. Harish Sharma was born and brought up in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and gave 20 years of his life to cricket. He did his schooling at the Sports College, Lucknow and post-graduation from Pithoragarh. He spent seven years, 1986-1992, as a journalist of Hindi newspapers Aaj, Dainik Jagran and news agency PTI and established a successful career in Pithoragarh - a hilly district in Uttrakhand, which was then part of UP. He decided to shift to Delhi in 1992 and started a fresh struggle as a freelance journalist. He joined Jain TV part-time followed by Hinduja IN Cable channel. In 1996, he started his PR company and got the first opportunity to do PR for the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in Delhi and North India with Amitabh and Govinda in the main lead. The next ten years were his golden years, and he did PR for more than 500 movies, events and celebrities. When he was the best PR, peaking in his career, he left everything behind and shifted to Mumbai in 2007. He started struggling again and enjoyed the new challenges. In Mumbai, he did a lot of PR, but the goal was to direct a film, so he produced a short film - Last Announcement - Aakhiri Munadi and directed a documentary called A Soldier becomes a Monk. In 2012, his first supernatural feature film, Two Nights in Soul Valley was released. In March 2017, he has shifted to Hyderabad for two years for his daughter's education. He is also studying Astrology at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. His debut book was printed in both English and Hindi. His next book Spot Fixing - NO BALL 2 CRORE and 2O years of Entertainment PR will release in 2018. See less
