The artist Guido Vrolix is drawing stories since his childhood. The first graphic novels appeared in the late 1990s and were drawn directly with brush on paper, like 'The Knights', 'The Trial' and 'King Noir'. The artist Guido Vrolix is drawing stories since his childhood. The first graphic novels appeared in the late 1990s and were drawn directly with brush on paper, like 'The Knights', 'The Trial' and 'King Noir'. Than, after a short break, followed by a second series (mid 2000s), now digital, that includes 'New Z City', 'The Four Plagues', 'Murder & Maria' and 'Murmur' etc... Some are in black and white, but most are done in color. They include different genres, ranging from science fiction, fantasy and post-apocalyptic, to thriller, historical fiction and true crime. Both the comics 'Van Bevers Square' ( based on a true story ), and 'The Nights' ( an adaptation of the play 'Always A Winner!' ), as well as and the children's book 'Scoop', are written by the play-writer Arne Sierens. Scoop has also been published in hardcover. All graphic novels are original written in Dutch and translated into English by Trahern Gemmell. They are available as ebook and paperback. See less
