George Walter Born

George Born is the Executive Director of the Historic Florida Keys Foundation. He is a leader in Key West's efforts to preserve and maintain its own historic architecture and heritage. He writes a history and historic architecture column for the Key West Citizen, the city's primary daily newspaper. Born is the author of Historic Florida Keys: An Illustrated History of Key West and the Florida Keys (2003).
