He has a degree in Geography from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, an MSc in Air Transport from Cranfield University and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Member of the American Association of Geographers. His first airline responsibility was in 1997, checking in a flight from London Luton to Glasgow for a tiny airline called easyJet - at the time operating five aircraft! See less
