Gaye Hiçyilmaz is the author of a number of highly praised books for children and young adults. After twenty years living in Turkey and Switzerland she returned to England where she grew up, and now lives with her husband on the Pembrokeshire coast, where she writes overlooking the sea. She has three sons and a daughter, all now grown-up.
