Professor Sengupta has edited a number of volumes on South Asian archaeology and co-authored two volumes: Eloquent Earth: Early Terracottas in the State Archaeological Museum, West Bengal and Vibrant Rock: A Catalogue of Stone Sculptures in the State Archeological Museum, Kolkata.
