Franklin Reeve

Franklin Reeve (1928-2013) was an American academic, writer, poet, Russian translator, and editor. He taught Russian language and literature at Columbia University before becoming chairman of the Russian Department at Wesleyan. Reeve was the founding editor of Poetry Review and the author of more than two dozen books of poetry, fiction, criticism, and translation.
