Frank W. Hale, Jr. is often referred to as the "Dean of Diversity" in higher education. He is in constant demand as a lecturer and consultant. His book, What Makes Racial Diversity Work in Higher Education, is widely used in colleges and universities throughout the country. He is Vice Provost and Professor Emeritus at The Ohio State University where he served from 1971-1988, and 1999-2005. He was previously President of Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama.
