Frank Merrill

Frank T. Merrill (1848-1936) was a noted illustrator of the nineteenth century, perhaps most famous for his illustrations of scenes from Little Women. He was a native of Dorchester, Massachusetts, educated at Boston Latin School and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He married Jessie Aldrich in the 1880s and traveled a great deal in his youth.
