Felicity Graham was born to English parents who came to Northern Ireland in 1946 when she was five. While her parents subsequently moved to the USA in 1964, she married and remained in Ireland; she has two sons. She and her husband Robin started Temple Auctions in 1980 in similar circumstances to the book's characters, Tom and Maddy, and it thrived for twenty years until they retired. Over those years Felicity kept diaries and wrote about antiques and collectables for Northern Ireland Homes and Interiors Magazine on a monthly basis. After retirement she attended The University of Ulster, taking a degree in Fine and Applied Art (specialising in ceramics) where she discovered she enjoyed research and writing more than anything else. Consequently, she also writes about ceramics for Ceramics Ireland Magazine from time to time and covers the University of Ulster Ceramics Degree Show. Her husband died in 2013 and a few months later she was invited to join a writing group. "It lifted me out of a great slough of despondency and I have been writing, reading and gardening ever since." 'Days of Wine & Wardrobes' is Felicity's debut novel. See less
