Eve Merriam wrote more than fifty books for children and adults, including "Where's That Cat?," coauthored with Pam Pollack and illustrated by Joanna Harrison, "12 Ways to Get to 11," illustrated by Bernie Karlin, and "The Inner City Mother Goose," illustrated by David Diaz. An Obie-winning playwright, she won the National Council of Teachers of English Award for Excellence in Poetry for Children.
