Professor Barron received his B.S. (1970) in Mathematics from the University of Illionois at Chicago and his M.S. (1972) and Ph.D. (1974) from Northwestern University in Mathematics specializing in partial differential equations and differential games. Professor Barron received his B.S. (1970) in Mathematics from the University of Illionois at Chicago and his M.S. (1972) and Ph.D. (1974) from Northwestern University in Mathematics specializing in partial differential equations and differential games. After receiving his Ph.D., Dr. Barron was an Assistant Professor at Georgia Tech, and then became a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. In 1980 he joined the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Loyola University Chicago, where he is a Professor of Mathematics and Statistics. Professor Barron has published over 70 research papers, and he has also authored the book Game Theory: An Introduction, 2nd Edition in 2013. Professor Barron has received continuous research funding from the National Science Foundation and the Air Force Office for Scientific Research. Dr. Barron has taught Probability and Statistics to undergraduates and graduate students since 1974. See less
