ABOUT THE AUTHOR Elizabeth Everett Bowers, is a prolific, prize winning poet and consummate architect of poetry and fiction for a general audience, including spiritually minded young adults who are open to the exploration and resolution of social issues. She served, honorably, a three year enlistment in the Women's Army Corp and is a Viet Nam Veteran. She holds a Master of Arts Degree from Lindenwood College. Elizabeth is the founder and first Executive Director of Employment Readiness Support Center, Inc. After retiring from the center, she earned a certificate of completion for a two year course in Writing for Children of all ages, from the Institute of Children's Literature. Among her many accomplishments, she is the author of numerous short stories for adults and children, poems, blogs and journalistic articles. Some of her other published works include: "Every Ready Soul Comes," and the young adult fantasy novel, "Epace," now being published by the Hawkins Publishing Group. Elizabeth co-authored and compiled "Pieces of the Tapestry," (A Montage of short stories, poems and Vignettes). She was the editor of "The Write Light," which is an artistic magazine featuring poetry and short stories; with literary contributions from numerous authors; and has served as News-Letter Editor for a number of charitable organizations. Elizabeth also authored "Tuesday Night's Dream," "Storm Clouds Over Christmas Land," "The Inner Garden," and "Poetry Can Be Fun." Elizabeth recently compiled "All My Pretty Roses," the complete works of Eleanor E. Freemer, which reflects nearly a century of living through the sorrows and joys of Eleanor's rich life experiences. Elizabeth is the proud wife of William Henry Bowers III. Together they have raised their two children, Dennis Edward Bowers and Carla Elizabeth Bowers-Smalls to be loving and ethical lovers of God and His creation.
