Elaine Parker Adams

An octogenarian, Elaine Parker Adams has written lowku poetry since the 1990s. She has published two lowku collections: Haiku Bouillabaisse and Hurricane Harvey Lowku. Adams has also penned the biography of her great grandfather, 'The Reverend Peter W. Clark', a 2013 Louisiana Notable Book. A retired community college educator, Adams is the founding president of Houston Community College-Northeast. She resides with her family in Houston, Texas.
