Elaine L Westbrooks

Elaine L. Westbrooks is metadata librarian at Cornell University, responsible for analyzing developments concerning metadata standards and access to electronic publications. She also creates and maintains repositories of non-MARC metadata. In her projects, she implements and maintains Dublin Core, MODS, and MARC metadata for the Open Archives Initiative as well as geospatial metadata for Cornell Library's Geospatial information repository. She holds her MLS from the University of Pittsburgh.
