Eido Frances Carney
Eido Frances Carney is the founder and teacher of Olympia Zen Center in Washington. She completed Soto Zen Buddhist training in Japan and received Dharma Transmission in 1997 from Niho Tetsumei Roshi of Entsuji Temple, Kurashiki, Japan, in lineage with the hermit priest-poet Ryokan. Eido Frances Carney is the founder and teacher of Olympia Zen Center in Washington. She publishes non-fiction, poetry, and fiction under her birth name Mary Frances Carney, and is an exhibited painter.
