E B White

E.B. White was a leading American essayist, humorist, poet, literary stylist, and author, who wrote more than seventeen books, including the beloved children's classics Charlotte's Web, Stuart Little, and The Trumpet of the Swan. He was a graduate of Cornell university, a staff member of The New Yorker, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Throughout his career, he won countless awards, including the 1971 National Medal for Literature and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Medal.
