E B Pusey

E. B. Pusey (1800-1882) was Professor of Hebrew at the University of Oxford from 1828 until his death. He was a noted preacher, but is best known as a leader of the Oxford Movement. This Church revival, which began in 1833, was aimed at restoring to the Church of England the High Church ideals of the seventeenth century.
