Tomas Mac Conmara is an award-winning oral historian from Co. Clare. In 2016, he was commended by President Michael D. Tomas Mac Conmara is an award-winning oral historian from Co. Clare. In 2016, he was commended by President Michael D. He began recording oral history at the age of fifteen and is now recognised as one of Ireland's leading oral historians. He founded of Cuimhneamh an Chlair (Memories of Clare). Tomas runs a heritage consultancy, leading cultural projects for national clients like Waterways Ireland, the Defence Forces and several local authorities.
