Dr. Serge Gavronsky, B.A., M.A., PH.D.

Serge Gavronsky was born in Paris in 1932 and fled Hitler in 1941. He received his BA, MA, and Ph.D in European History from Columbia University and is now professor and chair of the French department at Barnard College. His poetry, in French, has appeared in the magazines Les temps modernes, Tel quel, Action poetique, Banana Split, and many others.
