Martha Craft-Rosenberg, PhD, RN, FAAN, is professor and chair of the Parent, Child, and Family Area of Studies at the University of Iowa College of Nursing. Martha Craft-Rosenberg, PhD, RN, FAAN, is professor and chair of the Parent, Child, and Family Area of Studies at the University of Iowa College of Nursing. She has studied siblings of hospitalized children and siblings of ill children for 25 years. She has been an investigator on 17 funded studies focused on siblings of ill children and families of critically ill adults, with awards from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Midwest Nursing Research Society for research on children and families. Dr. Craft-Rosenberg has coedited two previous books with Janice Denehy on interventions for infants, children, and families. She has served two terms on the NANDA Taxonomy Committee and participated in the consensus conference for development of the Taxonomy of Nursing Practice. She is president of NANDA International and codirector, with Sue Moorhead, on a T32 grant for "Training in Nursing Effectiveness Research." See less
