Douglas Crimp
Douglas Crimp (1944-2019) was an art critic and the Fanny Knapp Professor of Art History at the University of Rochester. Crimp is most remembered in the art world for the Pictures exhibition, held at Artists Space gallery in New York City in 1977. From 1977 to 1990, he was the managing editor of the journal October.
