Over a thirty-year career he started a variety of companies including nursing homes, hospices, a durable medical equipment company, and a pharmacy, and home health care company. Don earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas State University in political science and a minor in philosophy. He later pursued postgraduate studies in religion at Southwest Assemblies of God University. In addition, he became an ordained preacher of the Gospel in 2001 through the ministry of Eastern Heights Church in Cleburne, Texas. As an anointed speaker, he delivers a strong message of hope to the Body of Christ. He employs humor, personal anecdotes, and imaginative sermons to make his messages come alive.
