Don Barrett has been a musician since the age of 10 and has composed nationally recognized concert works. He continues to compose and arrange for competitive marching bands and concert percussion ensembles around the country. Don composed the original score for the popular dramatic series Touched By an Angel in its final season on CBS. He is currently assisting Emmy-nominated and BMI award-winning composer Ron Jones (Foxas Family Guy and American Dad), where he serves as composer assistant and technical advisor. In 2006 and 2007, Don completed the original scores for several short films and recently finished scoring the television pilot The Real Life by creator Krystal Jalene Thomas. In addition, Don was hired to create electronic realizations of several unrecorded, previously unheard alternate cues from John Williamsa original Superman score. He was also a guest speaker and panelist at the Film Scoring Seminar and Technical Conference, held at Clackamas College in Portland, Oregon.
