Richard Wagstaff "Dick" Clark was a widely recognized American radio and television personality, best known for television's longest-running variety show, American Bandstand, from 1957-1987. He also hosted the TV game show Pyramid and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, which beamed Times Square's New Year's Eve celebrations worldwide.
