Diane Carlisle Lindsey

Diane Carlisle Lindsey was born in Lakeland, Florida and grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. She attended colleges in North Carolina, Florida and New York earning degrees in music performance and pedagogy. She has taught music in public schools, but mainly has taught private piano lessons for many years, and has written some beginner trios for piano, violin and cello, along with some intermediate piano duets. Diane Carlisle Lindsey was born in Lakeland, Florida and grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. She attended colleges in North Carolina, Florida and New York earning degrees in music performance and pedagogy. She has taught music in public schools, but mainly has taught private piano lessons for many years, and has written some beginner trios for piano, violin and cello, along with some intermediate piano duets. Her family of educators created a home environment of reading, writing, storytelling and playacting. She has fond memories of having carried on the tradition of bedtime reading to her children, as her mother did for her many years ago. Currently the author lives in State College, Pennsylvania, with two white cats Mia and Aster as companions. See less
