DIANA G. OBLINGER, Ph.D., is the manager of Academic Programs and Strategy for IBMs Global Education Industry. She is also an adjunct university professor at Wake Forest University, and an adjunct professor at North Carolina State University. Prior to joining IBM, she was responsible for managing the academic programs of 17 departments at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and spent several years on the faculty at the University of Missouri and at Michigan State University in teaching, advising, and research. Dr. Oblinger is the author of several papers and is the coauthor of two books. She has received three outstanding teaching awards, an outstanding research award, and was named Young Alumnus of the Year by Iowa State University. See less
