Believing in female fortitude and risk-taking power, Diana Coleman conducts engaging presentations to inspire others. She shares stories of determined women enjoying new experiences, riveting adventures, and taking risks later in life. After extensive interviews with women globally, she wrote the book Women Going For It! Taking Risks After 50 featuring twenty-six compelling women's stories and useful tools. A former administrator, Diana raised funds for organizations including Save the Children, the University of California, Berkeley, Pen Bay Healthcare, and the International Museum of Women. Work and studies have taken her to Central America, Africa, and Asia. She serves on the board of Mpanzi, supporting women and girls in Kenya. Her travel essays are published in the Goose River Anthology. A recipient of multiple service awards, Diana has a BA from Russell Sage College, and an MA from American University.
