Dennis Kennedy is the Director of Michigan State University's Center for Law, Technology & Innovation and author of the book, Successful Innovation Outcomes in Law. He is also co-author, with Tom Mighell of the recently-published ABA book, The Lawyer's Guide to Collaboration Tools and Technologies, Work from Home Edition. He retired as Senior Counsel, Digital Payments and Labs, at Mastercard. He is a well-known author, speaker, law professor, blogger, co-host of The Kennedy-Mighell Report podcast on legal technology (since 2006), and former chair of the ABA Legal Technology Resource Center board. He has been active in the ABA Law Practice Division for many years, wrote the technology column for the ABA Journal, co-wrote several books on LinkedIn and Facebook for lawyers with Allison Johs, and recently started the Law Department Innovation library. In addition to teaching classes at /Michigan State University College of Law, he teaches a class called "Legal Technology Literacy and Leadership" at the University of Michigan Law School.
