Dennis Beck lives in Fort Worth, Texas. He's written articles for a variety of publications, including World War II, Black Belt, Great Battles, and Experiments in Words. His novel Feather Duster, the tale of a spirited ball turret gunner who solves mysteries, was published in 2012 and is available in various electronic and a paper version. Mr. Beck is a professional t'ai chi instructor who has studied the Chinese art of stress reduction and exercise for the last twenty years. Emphasis in his classes is on general health benefits. A Navy veteran and graduate of Texas Tech University, he also teaches classes in creative writing and smoking cessation at Texas Christian University.
