Dawn Zinga is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Child and Youth Studies at Brock University. Dawn Zinga is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Child and Youth Studies at Brock University. Her research focuses on the intersections between multiculturalism, education, and children's rights. Her research interests also include challenges faced by newcomer and Aboriginal youth, acquired brain injury within educational settings, and women's mental health. She is the founder and Conference Chair of the Multicultural Days Conferencesas well as the editor of Perspectives on Multiculturalism (see http: //multiculturaldays.ca/home.html). Her work has been published in the Canadian Journal of Educational Administration and Policy, Exceptionality Education Canada, Hormones and Behavior, Journal of Developmental Disabilities, Primary Psychiatry, and Therapy.
