David Coombs

Coombs has been professionally involved with the visual arts since 1958. He worked first for the antiquarian bookseller, Henry Sotheran, and then for the Parker Gallery, an antique print and picture dealer. In 1962, he joined Connoisseur magazine, rising to the position of deputy editor. He served as editor of The Antique Collector magazine from 1974 until he retired in 1994.
