David Conville
David Conville took over the running of the Open Air Theatre at Regent's Park in 1962, with David William, and founded the New Shakespeare Company. First as Director, then Chairman, now Honorary President, he has been involved with the Park ever since. Besides being a producer, he is an actor, playwright and director. He was president of the Society of West End Theatres for three years, and was awarded the OBE in 1983.
