David Bucs began his art career peddling staple-and-tape-bound graphic novels to his neighbors when he was five years old. His interest in creating original character designs continued all the way to college, where he studied illustration at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. After working in the animation industry in Los Angeles as an art director and character designer, David moved to Beijing, where he was a designer in a 3-D animation studio. He loves to create characters, bringing them to life through strong expression using watercolor, colored pencils, and digital media.
