Danielle Corsetto hails from Ijamsville, Maryland, currently lives in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and has been creating comic strips since she was 8. She began work on the strip that eventually evolved into Girls with Slingshots back in high school, and ran a semi-autobiographical comic in the student paper at Shepherd College. Danielle Corsetto hails from Ijamsville, Maryland, currently lives in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and has been creating comic strips since she was 8. She began work on the strip that eventually evolved into Girls with Slingshots back in high school, and ran a semi-autobiographical comic in the student paper at Shepherd College. She also briefly ran another comic in the Hagerstown Herald-Mail newspaper, and wrote and drew The New Adventures of Bat Boy for the Weekly World News (taking the reins from Peter Bagge). She's also written three Adventure Time graphic novels for BOOM! She has taught illustration at her alma mater Shepherd University, and hopes to teach more in the future.
