Daniel Schumacher received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, where the student newspaper piqued his interest in publishing. In the decade that followed, he worked with award-winning teams at Food Arts , Gourmet , Cottage Living , and Birmingham Magazine , among others.
